the street five minutes after sweeping

Summer arrived in Camp Phillips the first week of April, stayed just long enough for the Annual Del Monte Football Cup to end, and left in a hurry. By Monday of the second week of April, the autumn leaves were everywhere.

I like the falling leaves – they are not garbage for me, they are natural accessories. There are leaves all over: streets; sidewalks, front lawns;rooftops.

It rains heavily today, so another season is coming.

Climate change or not, Camp Phillips always has three seasons: cold and wet, cold but not wet; and wet but not cold.

We are now moving to the cold and wet, and it will stay for the next eleven months. The rest of the seasons are cramped in the month of April.

On the other hand, I got plenty of materials for my compost.
