One of the blessings of living in the mountain is that you don’t need a flower shop. There are flowers blooming all over the place. Today, I looked around and took pictures of some of the blooming plants in the backyard.

What’s the flower on the 3rd photo called. I have them in my garden and the flowers open as the sun rises and fold as the sun sets. Amazing! They seem to be in bloom all year round and doesn’t need a lot of attention.
I am not so sure if what is its common name, but in our place it is called morning star, precisely because it opens as the sun rises. Yes, plant them and leave them alone. They bloom on their own 🙂
