2011 arrived in our camp quite confused and disorganized. The camp bells were ringing 10 minutes earlier than the TV coverage which served as our clue. So, when the bells rang, we immediately went outside and made some noise. After ten minutes, ABS-CBN declared it was midnight, so we went out again and made more  noise. It turned out everyone in our street had the same predicament, so we welcomed the New Year twice.

as traditional as can be-- 12 candles to thank God for the past twelve months, and 12 fruits to offer to God so He will bless us this year with nature's abundance

Because we are in the main street, the ruckus lasted for fifteen minutes, then it was silent night all over again. But I was pretty sure that the street parties continued till morning in the Valley Road, in the Creek Side Road, and in Agusan Canyon because when we woke up early the next day, the music was still loud from those places.

Happy New Year 2011 for the Second Time

This is my best New Year so far, so here’s to a new life!
